Potty Time and Gymnastics!

This past weekend I started to put Isabel on her potty just to see how she would react to it and what she would do. She did great. She actually used it all day Saturday and Sunday. She has done both of her bathroom duties in it. I am still just taking her regularly but really not expecting much right now. Although, she has been doing really good and only a few wet diapers a day and she is staying dry a lot longer than usual. So we will see how it goes.

She started gymnastics today and LOVED it! I was so proud. I am also so impressed how much the class offered to that age. They stayed busy and everything was to help with balance, coordination, social skills, and discipline. It was so neat to see how the kids actually did everything. She did songs with hand movements, flips on mats, hung from the bars, jumped on thetrampoline, and so much more. The pictures aren't very good because we couldn't keep her still long enough.

Happy 17 month old Birthday Isabel!

I can't believe my little girl will be17 months tomorrow and just one month shy of being a year and a half old. I couldn't imagine not being her mommy. I love watching her each and every day. She's such a beautiful and smart little girl.

Isabel is now in the toddler room at daycare and slept for the first time on her cot. Not a crib, but her cot. I was so proud of her. She loves it in there. It seems as if the dirtier she gets the more fun she has.

She is learning to talk so much better now and she is so much fun right now. Although the little temper she has developed hasn't been much fun. I blame that one on her daddy.

Lately....

So I haven't posted in awhile so I thought I would just do a quick update. No pictures sorry. The last couple of weeks have been so busy for me. The semester has been winding down, work a little stressful, and I still have my number 1 priority of being a mommy to Isabel. Not much has really happened. My sister came down this past weekend so we took Isabel to Chuck E. Cheese's and she loved it!

I have one final left this Friday morning. Praise to God! I am so ready for this semester to be over. It was a big transition for me. My previous semesters I took classes at UALR in Benton and they were just the basics. I am now in Little Rock and taking my major classes. It has been a hard change for me because I am away from Isabel a little bit more than usual and have to study so much more. The classes are definately tougher as I expected them to be. I am ready for Friday to be here, rest a couple of weeks, take 2 summer classes, and work full time.

The end of May we are going to Memphis. Just for a little quick mini vacation and can't wait. I love my job, my life, and my family. Things couldn't be better.
