Where.....

do I start? I am finally updating this blog for all of my wonderful fans, ha! So much has happened in the past few months. We have had a great summer in 2010 full of camping, Magic Springs, and just playing with friends. There was one particular camping trip that I just wasn't myself and everyone else new it but I denied it. I was rather sick leaving out details couldn't eat much which is far from me and very cranky well I can't deny that trait really I guess.

So a couple of weeks later I accept the fact that I am still sick and decide to take a pregnancy test after talking to a dear friend, Kim, who insisted I take one and what do you know, I'M PREGNANT! This was August 9, 2010. I am currently 27+ weeks pregnant with a little baby boy, Barrett Jasper Sory. Chris, Isabel, and I are thrilled and can't wait to bring this little boy into our home in April. Isabel was determined we were having a girl for a couple of weeks after we found out it was a boy but she finally settled on it being a boy and she can't wait to hold up her responsibilities as a big sister. We then found out not only is she going to be a sister she is going to be a cousin x'2. My sister and sister in law are both expecting as well. We are so excited for all of the big family get togethers with all of the little ones.

My little girl Isabel is 3. Yes, 3 and can't believe it. She is growing and learning so much. We just couldn't imagine life without her. She is quite the entertainer from singing, dancing, and just being plain silly. She just started school today and will be going everyday all day. Can't believe it! I only shed a couple of tears. I am just so excited but a little sad she is growing so fast. This will be so good for her and I am so excited she will be able to learn more and play with little ones her age. I am excited about the preschool curriculum and classroom structure and she is excited to play. So we are both happy.

We had a great Christmas and great New Year and can't wait to see what this year has in store for us and see our little one and grow to a family of 4.

Storytime Live

Leslie and I took the girls to see Storytime Live today, which included a few of their favorite Nickelodeon characters such as "The Wonderpets" and "Dora". The girls really enjoyed it. As a reward for Leslie and I sitting through this and being thoroughly "entertained" we celebrated with our favorite Dizzy's Grill for lunch. Wonderful day with the Warford girls.

Snow Day and Catch up

We have had some gorgeous snow this past week. All of my classes this week were cancelled and it has been so nice. I figured it was time to post some new pics from our life the past couple of months. We have been very busy the past couple of months. Isabel started school, well sort of, she started kid's day out 2 times a week and loves it. We took her to the horse races for the first time. Chris and I decided, well I decided to take a last minute trip to Memphis and we had so much fun together just the two of us. We have just been enjoying life. Isabel is learning and talking so much lately. She has been singing so many songs including her ABC's although she doesn't know all of them yet but knows the song. She is asking "what's that" and "whatcha doin" all the time now. She stays very busy. She also went to her first dentist appointment and did great. They even did an x-ray and she was so still.

Christmas was so much fun this year. On we left out cupcakes for Santa and read Twas the Night before Christmas. Christmas morning opened Santa gifts. Santa brought me a new kitchen, babies, movies, and food for my kitchen.

Merry Christmas!

Chris's mom always took her kids to see movies on Christmas Eve so we are now doing that with Isabel. She has been asking to watch "Alvin and The Chipmunks" well tipmunks really for about a week so we took her this morning. We came home and baked cupcakes for Santa. We are doing cupcakes instead of cookies this year. She has loved helping me and has done a great job not making a mess like her mommy.

So my little baby girl turned 2 today. Where did the time go? It seems as if we just left the hospital with her and wondered what to do now. It has been the best two years of our lives. She is more than we could have ever imagined. She brings so much joy and love. Happy Birthday, Sweetheart!!!
