Photo Session

Today we had pictures made by Jill Brannon and I can't wait to see them! I know they will be great. She was so wonderful and patient with Isabel. Here is a sample of our session for now.

Trick or Treat

This year trick or treating was so different than last year. Isabel knew what was going on and also knows what candy is. Everytime we would get more she would really express how bad she wanted it. I also thought it would be fun to dress up with her so I was a witch and she was Little Red Riding Hood. We thought we hid her candy basket when we got home but needless to say she found it. She woke up this morning and walked in our room with her basket and asking for her canny (candy).

One of her many suckers for the night and yes mommy was having a fit, but what's one night, right?

Day at the Farm and Wildwood Park

Chris's grandparents have a farm and they really wanted Isabel to come and play down there. So we finally did and made an afternoon of it. We had roasted marshmallows, cooked hot dogs over the fire, rode the fourwheeler, and played in the leaves. Isabel loved the leaves and throwing and jumping in them. She loved riding the fourwheeler with poppaw Marty and looking for the deer.

Motley's Pumpkin Patch

This past Saturday we went to Motley's Tree Farm Pumpkin patch with my parents. It was so much fun. They had pig races, that was pretty neat, petting zoo, hayride, and haystack play area for kids. It was a really neat place to go to. They also gave all of the kids free small pumpkins or punk as Isabel says it. She wouldn't let go of that pumpkin for anything.

She saw the swings and was so excited

It was pretty cold, but we thought she looked cute as well

Smore of a good time!

We have already had a fire and made smores this year. We love to sit by the fire, I think its just so cozy. I think Isabel loved the smore part.

Mmmm Mmmm good!

Pepaw I miss and love you so much
2 years ago on August 22 was when a very special person to me passed away. I know I am a little late posting but better late than never. There will not be a day when I don't think of my pepaw. He will always remain close to my heart and I am very saddened that Isabel will not get to meet him here on Earth and I know he would have been so crazy about her. I remember telling him I was pregnant and from day one he said I was having a girl, he also said I was feeding her very well by the look of my belly, but never got to meet her but I know he is watching over her everyday. It has been a very sad couple of years for our family but Isabel has 3 angels watching over her. My uncle Phillip passed away last year and as one of my previous post shows about grandma Mary.
